TwAthasy Wrathum & Vaishnava Prathosha Wrathum

Pranaaam/Vanakkam,

 

Dear swami,

 

I have taken a vow to observe TwAthasy vrathum beginning from next

poorvapaksha, kindly please clarify the followings:

 

1.when shall I start?:

is it exactly at the beginning of Thasamy tithi or during the 2 1/2

nadiya after sunset on the day of Thasamy tithi or any time during

the Thasamy tithi.

 

2.Is this Wratha should be observed only in Poorvapaksha or as well

as Aparapaksha?

 

3.when shall I conclude?:(paaranai)

is it exactly at the end of TwAthasy thithi or at the beginning of

TwAthasy thithi or any time during TwAthasy thithi or upon beginning

of Thrayothasy tithi. What would be the options if the tithi ends

between late night to early morining (09.00pm to 05.00pm)

 

4.during the paarana:

Do I consume first or the athithi first?

shall I break the fast first by offering the food to anyone or it

must be a Vaishnava?

do I have to consume their seshams or not?

Can I offer any thing edible or it should be a full meal course

(vada, payasam, pongal...etc-which I am not capable of) the best I

can do is Thayirsaatham or Chitrannam and some fruits.

If I can find anyone (let say, hypothetically if I couldn't find

anyone for the offerings, what shall do? - a friend of mine who

belongs to Kannadiya Madhva vaishnava said that I can offer to other

living beings(animals..birds..ants..etc) by dropping few morsel of

foods at the ground or to the vicinity of this beings by saying

Narayanaa Arpanam or Krishna Arpanam)..but I am aren't sure!!!

 

5.I am working on 6am-2pm-10pm-6am rotas and sometimes I will be

oncall, If I am at work during the parana, how shall I work it out.

 

6.What are the taboos during this Wratha?

 

or perhaps please suggest me the best options for the aboves.

1.Is it Prathosam is the auspicious time to worship Lord Nrusimha?,

please elaborate...in details...how to observe this Wratha..when to

begin/conclude..during poorva/aparapaksha..how..etc.

 

Looking forward for swamy's kind and favourable replies.

 

And a small humble request adiyen still waiting for swamy's reply on

Punar-Ubhanayanam as I am worrying about paying building up the

interests to the previous sins that I have committed of not

performing nitya karmaas. No hustle at your freewill please.
