Guest guest
Sri: Sri Vasu vadhyar swamin, dasoham. The timings and nazhi given in Indian Panchangams are based on sunrise at the place of publication (Chennai, Srirangam, Mysore, Nellore) in India. The No-28 panchangam lists position of World city for some of world cities and correction factor applied to dina nirnayam for each day. Can we use the same timings in following anushtanam across the World? In Northern America, there are 5 time zones. The timings between North America and city in India are from 26 to 33 nazhigai apart. Sun rise timings in city will be different even within India. It is very important to fix auspicious time based on panchangam for any day at the sun rise time. Sri Krishna Jayanti is celebrated on Aug 23rd 2008 in Northern America based on sun rise, tithi, nakshatram in a city in North America for most of sampradayam. The Pancharatra Sri Jayanti is celebrated on Aug 24th as per Sri Ranganatha temple, Pomona, NY following vakya panchangam compiled by Sri Kutty Sastrigal on Srirangam, Tiruchy. dasan. *** It requires much typing work. Now I am handicapped, using left hand only to type & edit, Sorry for not answering. nvs
Guest guest
Pranaam/Vanakkam, Dear swamigal, Firstly please, pardon me if I were wrong, I had came across similar issues to initiate my first Ecathasy Wrathum, with Dr Sadagopar's blessing and the Ahobilam Mutt Online Hindu Calendar & Ecathasy Calculator has been very helpful, eventhough I came across with slight variances with other calculators, I just rely on this site since I take it as the divine word of Lord Sri Nrusimha's and Lord Sri Jeeyar's. Bare in mind it only gives a monthly thithi and nakshatra time details All we have to do: need a Indian Local Solar Panchangam or simply Tamil Panchangam (our SriMaan Vasu vaadhyaars Paranthaaman Panchangam will be sufficient) and find the equivalent date from Tamil Date to Western date. e.g. today is Aavani 8 Sunday as such it is 24th August. >click or cut-paste the following link: > http://www.ahobilamutt.org/panjangam/listing-01.asp >Then enter the following details in the given input-spaces: >Is your location to the East or West of India: >Time difference from India to your location in hours: (hh:mm) in Hours format >Select the month and year: >Local(USA) sunrise and sunset time: (three different times) >Sunrise and Sunset at the beginning/1st of the Tamil month (hh:mm) in Hours format >Sunrise and Sunset at the Middle/14th or 15th or 16th... of the Tamil month (hh:mm) in Hours format >Sunrise and Sunset at the End/28th, 29th,..30..31..32 of the Tamil month(hh:mm) in Hours format > the following link will be very useful to find the local sun/moon- rise/set times, just find the exact or the nearest possible location, e.g I live in Colchester(UK) and the nearest location I can find is London(UK), makesure double check for day light savings. http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/astronomy.html?n=25 ----------------- there is another chennai calculator which is a daily detail calendar with yogam..karanam..etc, we need the time differences and longitude/Latitude inputs (which can be obtained from the following link http://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/imageg.htm ) http://www.chennaiiq.com/astrology/tamil_panchangam.asp ------------------------------- the following links gives direct calculation for various locations, all we have to do is just select the exact or the nearest location, and beware of the Day light savings..UTC time...etc http://www.mypanchang.com/panchang2008.html http://www.himalayanacademy.com/resources/panchangam/#2008-2009 Last but not least, it is just a suggestion and I don't know whether it is based on Vaakyam or DrigGanitham, I know for sure that Ahobila mutt's is based on Vaakyam and no idea about the rest. I don't hold any authority, all the credible goes to those webmasters. There is no rocket science, just enter the inputs and it is done...easy-peasy. Pardon me if there are any flaw in the given information. Meanwhile SriMaan Vasu Vaadhyaar swamigal, I really felt sorry to hear that you are being poorly, but please... for god sake don't say that.. you are " handicapped " , it is only a impermanent injury not for everlasting, definitely you will get well soon, you are good hearted soul who kind enough to render a great service for the well being of the society without expecting any thingamy in return, for sure the bad time will wane soon. " Ullaithu-Ullaithu Teynthu ungal Karangal " please take a short break atleast for 6 months don't strain up and increase load on the other arm, kindly please take a phsyiotherapy treatments, nowadays there are many good therapist avail in Chennai, nip in the bud is better then moaning later, please don't take for light, I am no where near to your grace to advise you, but I am an athlete I have came across such injuries, thus I am advising you that kindly please take short term break is better then a long term break ( I hope you understand), naan chinnavan.. thangalukku upadesam seya enakku aruhathai kidaiyaathu but neengal ahrohgiyamaga iruka vehndukiren. Dear Swami, please take care yourself. Dhanyavath/Nandri
