Guest guest
SrI:Dear Nrusimha BhaktAs : It is wonderful to read the spirited responses to the Rope way Kaimkaryam proposed by a devotee of Sri Lakshmi Nrusimhan . There are many kaimkaryams initiated and completed by the current Jeeyar of Ahobila Matam , Sri Narayana Yatheendhra MahA Desikan to make it easier for devotees to access the difficult terrain of Ahobilam to worship at the Nava Narasimhar Temples . There are number of ongoing Kaimakryams at Ahobilam to enhance the comfort of sevaarthees and maintain the sanctity of these shrines about which Thirumangai AzhwAr performed His MangalAsAsanam . AzhwAr's wonderous anubhavam is covered in a special ebook that the Ahobilavalli group released recently : http://www.ahobilavalli.org It is the 50th ebook in the above series , where Thirumangai Mannan describes wonderously the beauty of the dhivya dEsam and His extraordinary anubhavam of trekking thru the virgin forests and fierce mountains , where the Lord has taken His abode . Sriamth Azhagiya Singar has created a 11 acre site at a distance from PrahlAdha Varadhan sannidhi called Nava Narasimhapuram to help future SevArthees further . The first wing has just been opened . The permission from the Government and the steps to taken to assure the pristine nature of the terrain around have been hall marks of sensitive construction that one has to remember . The Svathi committe blessed by Srimath Azhagiya Singar is organizing Thirumanjanams at all the nine sannidhis every month and helping devotees to visit the Kshetram the year around . The boarding and lodging facities have been improved significantly . It is still a fragile system that can not accomodate tourists/devotees en masse as at Thirumala . Supply of water , overnight lodging facilities and availability of PrasAdhams are serious issues to contend with while enhancing the flow of more devotees . One of the current kaimkaryams , where you can particpate , is assuring steady year round water supply for the various sacred rites including Thitumanjanam for the Sannidhis at the Ahobilam hills. The sacred Bhavanasini river is the source and this river's flow has been dwindling over the years and Srimath Azhagiya Singar has initiated a project to bring down water from the upper ahobilam thru granite pipes . Approximatelt 1200 stone units are needed at a cost of Rs.1,000 each . Devotees of Nava Narasimha can help realize this project quickly . The sheer majesty and beauty of the Ahobilam hills is indescribable . The Ahobilavalli Kaimkaryam group has tried to create a virtual tour of this terrain , where the Nava Narasimhars have taken their abode and are recieving AarAdhanam from Srimath Azhagiya Singar . Please enjoy the virtual Power Point Presentation Tour : Here are the links to the Ahobila Divya Desa Virtual Tour PPT: http://www.srihayagrivan.org/ppts/a_vt.pps (Since the file size is 6 MB, it would be better to choose the option to “SAVE” the file after clicking on the link and then view the presentation from the local drive so that there are no interruptions from slower connection/download speeds.)
