Guest guest Posted January 9, 2009 Report Share Posted January 9, 2009 Swami, This question had rankled Adiyen as well. Even in Thiruppavai, Nachiyar mentions devi as " Nandagopan Marumagale " . Also there is mention of Kannabiran taming seven ferocious bulls to win Nappinai piratti's hand in marriage. However, Kannanbiran had left Ayarpadi at a young age, so it is not clear when this happened. Related to this question I had another question, there is hardly any mention of Neela Piratti in whatever little Puranic lore that Adiyen is aware of. Can someone provide more information?
