Guest guest
Dear Vasu Vadhyar Swamin Dasan Srinivasan Pranams I require clarification on the following 1. I was told that we should not use Plantain related things ( like vazhai ilai, Vazhakkai, Vazhippazham etcon a dwadasi day. Is it true? 2. If Ekadhasi Vratham on a dwadhasi day when do we observe dwadhasi Paranai? Also when to do acharya padhuka aradhanam? 3. During saligarama Thiruvaradhanam Can we do thirumanjanam using a sanku? 4. During tharpanam is it necessary to use a separate tumbler fo achamanam aprt from the one used for tharpanam? Thanks and regards Adiyen Srinivasa dasan *** 1. Yes there is a common practice like that not using any part of a plantain tree in any form on a dwadasi day. 2. Dwadasi paaranai will be the next day to the Ekadasi vradha day, irrespective of the thithi on that day. Paduka aaradhanam is always the end part of Perumal aaradhanam. 3. Yes, can use Shangu for thirumanjanam but practically the shangu found in the houses will be very little and we have to fill it many more times to complete the thirumanjanam. 4. Yes, always a sombu should be kept separate for our anushtanam and also it better to keep two separate sets of vessels for one to pitru karma and other to deiva karma. nvs
