Guest guest
SrI: Dear Srimans NVS Swamy and Vitahavya: In covering the individual Navagraha Mantrams , I have given the name of adhidEvata and PratyadhidEvatA . For instance , in the case of Soman /Chandran , the adhidEvatai is Jalam (aapa:) , which is figured extensively in AruNam and Mantra Pushpam ; the PratyadhidEvatai is Gowri , again referred to in AruNam . Their mantrams are recited along with the PradhAna dEvatai ( Soman here ). In Kerala, this concept is absent. While performing Graha Shanti as Navagraha Poojas are called, the mantras belonging to Adi Devata and Pratyadidevas are entirely omitted.Adiyenvitahavya***When we are doing navagraha aavaahanam ...Just we are saying the mantram for the particular grahasay 'Suryan' - 'Asatyena rajasaa .... ', 'Agnidutam vruniimahe ...','Yeshamese .....' all these three mantrams and will say"adi devata pratyadi devata sahitam aditya graham dhyaayaami aavaahayami" but we don't know the names or description of those devatas.sorry.nvs
