Well,I could not understand it due to lake of few details.How many brothers you are?Explain the word cousin by mentioning the complete step by step relation.What ever he may be. The actions, and mantra proyogams are to be done only by the eldest son and all others should be there.

Dear Sir,

My mother passed away last week. A cousin, who is close to my mother wants to participate in the 10, 11th and 12th day rituals.

I realize this is not normal. are there any negative repercussions? What does our sampradhayam say? WE BELONG TO THE MUTT
