Guest guest
May be we can consider other Devdas as bhagavthas and do kainkaryam This adiyen`s opinion Dasan Raghavan *** Good suggestion! " Sharvaani Angaani Devadah: " is veda vachanam, it means all other devadas are limbs of Sriman Narayana. If we could worship with the real sense as 'Antharyami' of this devada is 'Sriman Narayana only' we can do pooja to any visible matter whatever may be its form. nvs Rangarajan M P <rangaind Sun, 30 Aug 2009 22:21:53 <vaideekam >; [Vaideekam] Post Saranagathi - Activities I have done prapati with Srimadh Azhagiyasingar this June and have not been visiting other devada temples these days. Guest guest
namo narayana I have a small doubt, if we have truly surrendered to Sriman Narayana, where is the need to go on seeking Him as antharyami in anya devathas, when His own beautiful forms such as Lord Krishna, Lord Rama etc have been mercifully given to us by HIM?? Why not worship HIM directly and not circuitously? Why not worship the anya devathas in HIS form itself? Sincerely, Kamlesh *** Your argument is logic but not practical! Also as per your verse " Truly surrender " will be meaningful for persons who are 100% adopting the " Post Prapatti rules " like 'Living with other True Prapannas, Divydesa vaasam, Gathi Chintanam' etc. etc. In a family (most of the family) the elders above sixty might have done prapatti and the youngsters yet to have it. Prapatti requires lot of mind maturity which is very hard to earn in young age without reading and hearing lot of Sampradhayic books and Upanyasams. And, where there is a need or thirst in worldly things, it is not possible to get such a maturity. So, only Bhagavan Sriman Narayana itself given lot of options to follow, till he / she reach the mind maturity. Lot of things (philosophies) are there in the world, one should get the maturity to sort them as : 'Asaaram; Alpa Saaram; Saaram; Saarataram; and Saaratamam' as per " Swamy Desikan's Rahasya traya saaram " , then only he could follow the highest one 'Saaratamam'. So, Prapatti also instructed to get it done only after getting necessary mind maturity. The matured person can see the Antaryami bhagavan while satisfying his other family person. Let them get the maturity when Bhagavan decides. nvs
Guest guest
Dear Swamis Adiyen Dasan Can I also add that such worship per NVS swamy's opinion should be done such that we do it without seeking any benefit from those devatas - as it is the nature of all of the Devata's blessings to add to the 'karma' of the beneficiary Adiyen Dasan Ramji *** Please understand the question, A prapannan co-operating with others to visit Anya Devadas temple to pay their (not prapannan) praarthanais. It is not about a group of prapannas (or an individual prapannan) going to worship an Anya devada. nvs
