Guest guest
Respected Swamin. Namaskaram. I would be thankful for clarifications on few of my doubts my close friend has? a) His aged mother is very critical & living in Lord's mercy in pain & her own pleasure, Can a proposed marriage of his son be conducted on scheduled date - even if anything untoward happens just prior to the date of marriage - OR should it be postponed? When is the earliest new date be reconsidered & be Appropriate? The point is he is the only son to do the anthima samskaram through! b) If he has to be doing the necessary Samskaram in the event of bad luck, is it required that some one else take the officiating responsibility for conduction of his son's marriage? c) Since his son is coming on a short leave from US, touching Chennai on December 01, 2009, can an Upanayanam be done between December 3 & December 11, 2009 - before the Marriage in the month of Thai OR can the Upanayanam & Marriage be done simultaneously in the month of Thai. Thanks. SreeramanTS or SreeramanTS Sri: a) *** From (including) the date of death; 12th day (if not Ekadasi) Sapindikaranam and 13th day Subhasweekaram, after the completion of Subhasweekaram the marriage can be fixed in the nearest next muhurtham. b)*** No need to officiate some one; He himself can perform the Vradham for his son, though he is the kartha. c) *** Either of the option can be done according to the practical availability of resources like place (mandap), vadhyar, cook, relatives cooperation etc. nvs
