[Vaideekam] Pongal Paani and Utharaayana Punya Kalam Timing

Dear Shri Vasu Swamin

Is there any Sastra on Pongal Paanai? I heard in Karnakata, there is no

such custom. Probably this is only in Tamil Nadu?

I have to do sradhdham on sankranthi day this year. when to do tharpanams for

amavasya / sankranti and perform sradhdha for me ( kartha) / bhoktha swamins as

well.

Can the thiruaraadhanam be done twice one in the morning and another in the

afternoon after perorming punyakala Tharpanam / sayankalam?

Usually the Amavasai thithi shraaddham should be done first and then the dharsha

tarpanam,

Sankranti (Masa pirappu) tarpanam should be done before doing shraadham.

 

When sankranti and dharsha tarpanam and Amavasai thithi happens on the same

day, then the sankranti tarpanam can be done after shraaddham if the time of

sankramanam is late afternoon like this 14th January.

Amavashya / Punya kalam Tharpanam can be done before shardham.  But can we do

Parehini tharpanam (Pathyabtheega srardam)on the same day?

There is no option given for Parehani tarpanam to do on the same day,

we are doing it for our convenient.
