[Vaideekam] seeking gaya srardham procedures please

Here are the details and Gaya Contacts. Service is very good on Karnataka Bhavan.

a. Phalguni [Falguni] Teertha Snana Maha Sangalpam

Thirupthi Dhakshinai : To ask Gaya Brahmans if they are satisfied [according to legend, the Brahmins at Gaya are not easily satisfied and it is a tradition to ask them anyway, in an attempt to satisfy them]. The Pandas[priests at the temple], ofcourse have the habit of pouncing on all the devotees to extract as much money as possible. So one should be careful in dealing with them. It is best not to carry your purse with lot of cash, lest you may land in trouble. It is advisable to carry limited cash only 10 Rs, Coins etc. (only one set Madi Vastram required)

With the blessings of our Acharyan and Perumal & Piratti, we are leaving for Mukthinath on April 28. Way back we will be landing in Gaya on 12th night or ealry on 13th May 10 (which is amavasai day) to perform Srardham for my father. ( We follow Thennacharya Sampradayam)

Can we do Gayasrardham on Amavasai day??

Is there any restriction or so, that Gayasrardham shall not be performed on particular days etc.

Can you please brief the formalities / procedures for performing Gayasrardham. The tour organiser told that we have to pay Rs.xxxx for perfroming srardham.

I would be thankful and grateful if you good brief the do's and don'ts w.r.to performance of Gaya - Srardham.
