Guest guest
dear swamins, Radheshyam, We do parisheshanam while taking food. My doubts are, 1. should do we that even while taking tiffin like dosai, chapati etc? I typically take some rice in the plate in advance, but what do we do when only tiffin is taken? 2. I understand that parisheshanam is done only for unsalted fresh rice with ghee. What do we do while taking prepared rices like coconut rice, tamarind sadam etc. 3. Should we do it while taking 'pazhaya sadam' or yesterday's food. Dasan, Nandakumar *** Normally the 'Parishechanam' is only for the 'Suddhaannam' . 'Parishechanam' is not recommended for any food prepared with salt. Tiffins are not considered as food, it is considered as 'Phala Aaharam' (Fruit Aaharam) to solve the hungry for people who are not able to keep fasting till the next period. nvs
