Word by word Meanings of the 67th Mantram

The prayer is to have full Veda PrAyam and the appeal is to the abhimAni dEvathais of the Mithunam ( Couple or paired unit) of Day and night .

After the prayer, a Paadham of Sacred Gayari mantram is included in this panchAti:" Om bhUrbhuva: svAhaa".Here, "BhU:" stands for the first paadham of the Gaayatri mantram; Bhuva: and Suva: represent the second and the third paadhams of the powerful Gaayatri Mantram invoked by us during the sun rise and setting as well as during the midday .The paired relationship( mithuna sambhandham) between the Jeevan and the ParamAtma is indicated here , when Gaayatri mantram is recited .

Many mitunams ( sukla-KrishNa pakshams, Day and night ) are linked to the sanchAram of the Sun .They are always united . In a similar manner the mithunams invoked by Husband and wife, Father and son , possessor-possessed ( in the case of cattle ,

house) are requested to be spared from the harsh impact of akAla Mrutyu in the four mantrams starting from the sixty fourth .
