UpAsakan prays for life in their lOkams, while shining there with his tejas with their anugrahams. These are the 11 Rudhra roopams of Vaayu . The eleven RudhrANis are next invoked: PrabhrAjamAni , VyavadhAti , Vaasuki-Vaidhyutee , RajatA , ParushA, SyAmA, KapilA,AtilOhitee, UrdhvA , Avapatantee and Vaidhyutee. These are the eleven Rudra Patnees. The UpAsakan's prayer is to live in the above eleven worlds with his own tEjas. The prayer ends with:"Om BhUrbhuvas-sva:, roopANi vO mithunam mAnO Mithanagum reeDvam."This portion of the mantram reminds us that ParamAtma (the Meaning of OmkAram) Himself appears as BhU , Bhuvar and Svarga lOkams.The prayer continues with the appeal not to be seperated as mithunam and stay as the mithunam like the eleven Rudhrans and their Pathnees. 17th anuvAkam SampoorNam Introduction to the 72nd Mantram of the 18th anuvAkam The UpAsakan's prayers is for the anugraham of the ashta Moorthys of Agni to live in their worlds with his own lustre( tEjas) and not to be impacted by untimely death and its consequences. Text of the 72nd Mantram athAgnEr-ashta purushasya AgnE: poorva-dhiSyasthAnE svatEjasA bhAni JaatavEdhasa upadhiSyasthAnE svatEjasA bhAni sahOjasO dakshiNa-dhiSyasthAnE svatEjasA bhAni ajirAprabhava upadhiSyasthAnE svatEjasA bhAni VaisvAnarasyA paradhiSyasthAnE svatEjasA bhAni naryApasa upadhisyasthAnE svatEjasA bhAni panktirAdhasa udhag-dhiSys-sthAnE svatEjasA bhAni VisarpiNa upadhiSyasthAnE svatEjasA bhAni Om bhURbhuvas-sva: dhiSO vO mithunam maa nO mithunagum reeDvam----(72) Summary of the meaning of the 72nd Mantram This mantram is about the eight kinds of Agni Moorthys. The 8 directions in which they reside are stated:(1) Agni in the Eastern direction (2)JaatavEdhas in the South East( Clockwise from East), (3) SahOjas in the South (4) Ajira-prabhavan in the South West (5) VaisvAnaran in the West(6)NaryApas in the North West (7) PankirAdhas in the North dhig and (8) Visarpi in the IsAnyam( North East).
