Guest guest
Swamin, In every temple, panchanga patanam is traditionally done on the tamil new year day. But the patanam is made by people who are otherwise Vidwans and Anushtathas in their own right but not fully familiar with astrology, zodiac and other panchang related topics. Therefore the panchang, of the first page of the Panchang, is not fully explained by them. Can any of the learned members of this Group please explain Virodhi Varsha panchanga phalan, as given in the first page of the panchang? Wwe understand the Raja, Mantri and Senadhipathi. We also understand dhanyadhipathi, meghadhipathi. But what is meant by sasyadhipathi, rashadhipathi, neerashadipathi, etc.? What do the mentions of Varsham 13, Dhanyam 11, Seetham 15, Thrunam 15, Ushnam 11, etc indicated in Sriraingam panchang really mean? Are they to be understood as Varsham will be 13 out of 100; dhanyam production will be 11/100, etc.? I request the learned members to explain and enlighten the other members.
