Dear Bhagavatas,

 

Some of the Bhagavatas were inquiring about PiLLai PerumAL IyengAr’s Unjal Prabhandams.

Here is a beautiful video clip from Sri Rangam spliced with a stunning rendition of Unjal Prabhandam by Sangeetha Kalanidhi Smt. M.S. Subbulakshmi.

When your eyes are feasting on numperumAL and your hear Smt. MSS sing the words “kaN kaLippa, manam uruga, arivu sOra, uzhakkumura, buyam pUrippa, mugam malara, mey kuzhiaya”, you can’t help but melt completely. Then, when the words “AramudE, pasum kiLiyE, muththE, annamE, azhagin tEnE” reverberate in your ears, you feel that you are not just transported to BhUlOka vaikuNTham but to Sri VaikuNTham Itself
