{Meaning}: I take refuge at the sacred feet of the ParamAcharyan, Sriman

NaarAyaNan through my Acharyan and their AchAryans in the order of Sri

BhaashyakAra , Periya Nambi , AaLavanthAr , MaNakkAl Nambi , UyyakkoNdAr ,

Naathamuni , NammAzhwAr , VishvaksEnar , and Periya PirAtti .

 

As you are already aware, asmadhacharyan His Holiness Srimad Paravakottai

Andavan Sri Gopaladesika Mahadesikan Swami had wished for an ashramam building

at Chennai and Bangalore with a temple therein to be bulit so that local sishyas

and abhimaanis can assemble there to celebrate azhwar, acharya thirunakshathrams

regularly. It would also facilitate poor srivaishnavas to perform the religious

auspicious functions

 

The Chennai ashramam premises are built in Thiruneermalai. Thiruneermalai

Asramam Samprokshanam is, by Acharyas’ Grace is to be celebrated on 09.07.2009

between 8.30 AM and 9.15 AM under the benign blessings of and immediate

presence of HH Srimad Rangapriya Mahadesikan. Swami has a long relationship and

association with our ashramam.

 

1) Arrangements are afoot. Hectic days are ahead. All disciples and abhimanis

should take active interest, participate physically and financially.

 

2) Vigrahas almost completed are the following:

Lord Srinivasa with consorts

Lord Lakshmi Hayagriva

Lord Chakrathalwar

Nammazhvar

Sri Bhashyakar

Swami Desikan

Swami Thirukkudanthai Desikan

Peria Andavan

 

Total cost of 10 Vigrahas come to a little around Rs. 4,00,000/- including

transportation to Chennai

 

3) Three moolamurthis for 1, 2 & 3 in stone being arranged from Mahabalipuram.

Average cost of each including transportation works out to Rs. 1,35,000/- i.e.

Rs. 4,00,000 for the three moolamurthis.

 

4) Thus the estimated cost of vigrahas and moolamurthis work out to Rs. 8 lakhs

and for Samprokshanam Rs. 6 lakhs. A total outlay immediate is Rs. 14 lakhs

apart from construction already completed.

 

On this context, adiyEn would like to recall our unparalleled acharya's

discourse- His Holiness when he delivered teleupanyasam first time about ten

years ago- mentioned that: (translated by Sri Satakopan Swami)

 

The resident Sri VaishNava community all over the world today is distinguished

by its zeal:

 

(1) to perform nithya karmAs sanctioned by SaasthrAs

(2) organizing conferences on Sri VaishNavism to propagate and disseminate our

AchArya 's Sri Sookthis

(3)the creation of new groups such as Swami Desika Darsana Sathsangham (4) the

creation of a new electronic journal and discussion groups to cover the most

important doctrine of our sampradhAyam.

(5) support for many kaimkaryams initiated by SadAchAryAs in India .He noted

especially the unique services of his distinguished sishyar , Sri Anbil

Ramaswamy ,since his relocation to USA after his retirement from his high

office in India .His exact words are " nErE ThondarAhi vittAr "

 

He instructed us to work together in a spirit of unity and to channel our

undivided energies to spread the glorious message of our revered sampradhAyam.

He appealed to us to fight divisive proclivities and unite together in our

efforts to perform kaimkaryams to our revered traditions.

 

Let us continue to work together and perform bhagawath, bhAgawatha, Acharya

kainkaryams.

 

We earnestly appeal to selected friends, sishyas, abhimanis to separately

undertake this part of the Asramam branch establishment. If the burden is

shared by contributing separate parcels of Rs. 10,000/- each or even less by

about 150 persons for this, we could manage the task and complete the

Samprokshanam.

Hayagriva is our Ashrama arAdhya murthi.
