In Amalanthipaaran Paasuram6 Alwar says "Thunda Ven Pirayan Thuyar Thirtavan"referring to one of Siva's story of the kaabalam from Matsya Puranam. So in that story it states that brahma have 5 faces and siva with 5 as well.In other Paasuram Thirulmalisai Alwar says "Nayarayanan Nange Muganai Padaithan,Nan Muganum Tan muganai Sankaranai Padaithan. In many places it is stated Brahma as nange mugan or caturmugan and he's created with 4 faces.Pls guide me what is the teaching/secret of this. What is the real thing behind this 5 faces of brahma.
