On 17th, Vishu Punya Kaalam besides Amavasya. Three punyakaalams come together on that day You will perform " Aradhana " . Some of you will perform Sri Lakshmi pooja also. Some of you will go to the nearby temple. Some of you will do namaskaram to elders and receive their blessings During all these occasions, adiyen's request is to set apart/ to keep some contribution to the construction of " Thayar Sannidhi " at Gopurapatti, near Srirangam, however small it may be. When you attempt to send it to " Srikainkarya ", Sri Mahalakshmi will induce and encourage your mind to add something more to this contribution.
