Swamy was born in ThUppul in 1268 CE . At His avatAra stalam , a Kaimakryam has been initiated to present a Makara KaNDi

as our grateful samarpaNam for His MahOpakAram to us all and future generations as long as there is the Sun and the Moon . Swamy Desikan is the avatAram of Lord VenkatEsA's sannidhi bell and drives away all ajn~Anam of ours and

has shown us the SaraNAgathy as the means for securing our place in Sri VaikunTham to serve Sriman NaarAyaNan and

enjoy BrahmAnandham thru our blemishless kaimakryams .

The Makara KaNDi is a small measure of our gratefulness to this MahA AchAryan . The center piece of this gem necklace is

none other than AchArya RaamAnujaa as Swamy Desikan revealed in His YatirAja Saptati.

The UpakArams done for us by Swamy Desikan are beyond count and measurement . At His avatAra Stalam , His BhakthAs are planning to present Him with a Makara Kanti , which is a necklace made up of precious stones with a magnificent center

piece to celebrate how AchArya RaamAnuja occupies a central spot in the row of AchAryAs . Sw amy Desikan has elaborarted this tattvam in His YathirAja Saptati . The image of the Makara KaNti under construction is attached .

We need 6 Laks of Rupees to complete the Kaimakryam . It will be a bhAgyam to take part in this kaimakryam as the followers of Swamy Desika Darsanam . In our Sundara Simham , Ahobilavalli and Sri Hayagrivan series , we have covered all His stOtra Grantams , Kaavyams , Chillarai Rahasyams and PrakaraNa Granthams as well as His Dhivya Prabhandjams .
