As discussed, I am forwarding the details w.r.t. Mahotsavam, where the scanned copy is attached.

I am attaching the kaimkaryam XLS also for your kind reference. As discussed, we want to do more kaimkaryams and hence the plans and budgets are big. We hope we can do all of them with the kind support from people like you.

Normally, we do not circulate the xls to everyone (since some people mistake it) and hence we request you to use your discretion in forwarding the xls to your close known people only.

We are planning the following work items through the "SRI KOORATHAZHWAN's 1000th YEAR MAHOTSAVA COMMITTEE". 1) Books publication - Azhwan's vaibhavam in simple tamil, english, hindi & telugu, Panjastavam lyrics, Panjastavam vyaakyaanam, Kuresa vimsadhi vyaakyaanam, etc., 2) MP3 CDs - Panjastavam in sevai murai & Sandhai murai 3) Panjastavam Upanyaasam MP3 CDs (this is done using the Nithyapadi Nidhi scheme) 4) Organising a vidhwadh sadhas 5) Azhwan Articles in newspapers, magazines, sri Vaishanava pathrigais, etc., 6) Monthly upanyaasams (one or two per month) at various cities by several vidvaans. 7) Media related, Photo & Video charges 8) various functions to be organized during 1000th year utsavam 9) Special praaadhams, Thadhiyaaraadhanai (ANNADHAANAM FOR AVERAGE OF 1500 people per day) for 10 days festival 10) Grand utsavam

 

- special pushpam, sandhanam, pattu vasthram, etc., for Azhwan

 

- special purappadu with yaanai, guthirai, band, vaadhyam

 

- special prasaadham for Azhwan and distribution to devotees throughout the day

 

- Additional divyaprabhanda ghosti, veda paarayana ghosti

 

- upanyaasams everyday 11) Others (Transportation, postage & courier, printing & Stationery, water & Sanitary for public during festival times, etc.,) We have estimated a big amount to be spent for doing all of the above agenda. As all of us know, raising funds through the known people is the best way for such activities and hence this email to you....
