On Marghazhi 27 ( January 11, 2010) , the NooRu Tadaa Akkaara Adisil SamarpaNam will be made for Dolai KaNNan at Sri

Ahobila Matam , SelayUr , Chennai on behalf of Godhaa PirAtti . The details regarding this unique annual utsavam to commemorate the presentation of 100 vessels filled with Akkara Adisil( Special form of Sweet Pongal) by AchArya RaamAnuja to the Lord of ThirumAlirumchOlai EmperumAn , Sri Sundararajan aka KaLLazhagar .

The SamarpaNam of Akkaara Adisil will be in 100 Silver Vessels and few Golden Vessels . The SamarpaNam will be made on behalf of GodhA PirAtti by Srimath 45th Pattam and the 46th Pattam Azhagiya Singars during their Abhigamana AarAdhanam for that day . The sponsorship costs would be $90 ( Rs.3,800) for the 100 gram silver vessel and Rs.48,000 for the 24 gram Golden Vessel . The sponsors can take home the vessel( s) that they sponsor and use it in their daily AarAdhanams.

 

Each of the sponsor will receive the vessels directly from the sacred hands of Srimath Azhagiya Singars , if you could attend the

Abhigamana AarAdhanam on January 11 , 2009 . For those , who can not be present , the staff of the Matam will store them for delivery on the day of your future visit to Sri Matam . Your relatives can also receive them for you .
