My Dear Swamin!,

As you are aware, we are what we are because of past, I mean the spiritual power of our ancestors like Bhagavan Ramanuja and the Seventy Four Apostles appointed by him to spread the message of surrender at the feet of the lord.

Nadadoor Azhwan, son of the younger sister of Bhagavan Ramauja was give the apostolate of Sr Bhasya Simhasanam by Bhagavan Ramanuja himself in 1137 AD before his return to Vaikunta.

Nadadoor Ammal (1165 AD to 1275 AD) was the grand son of Nadadoor Azhwan. His service to Ramanuja’s philosophy has been quite unique. Swamy Vedanta Desika was his grand disciple of this Savant and refers to Ammal with gratitude for his blessins to him in his childhood and reverence to his upadesas.

There is a temple devoted to this Savant and Saint in BROADWAY , CHENNAI (MADRAS). It is a temple in existence for 150 years now. The trustees of the temple have come up with a proposal to renovate this temple, in addition to adding some more Sannadhis.

The estimation for this kainkaryam, is expected at around Rs.45 Lakhs.
