Right from the time of Nammalwar to Adivan SatakOpa Jeeyar, the word Sadagopan has blessed us all the time! PallAndu PallAndu! SadagOpamuni of New York (fondly called i-Mahamuni 'internet mahamuni' by Sri K Raghunath Swami) and " Kovai AzhwAn " of Coimbatore! and the list continues.. Guest guest Posted January 7, 2003 Report Share Posted January 7, 2003 Dear Sri Malolan: I believe that you have very generously included this worthless self (when you mentioned about Anbil)in the galaxy of great Scholars who truly deserve not only your eulogy but much more. As for me, I am still in the learning mode priveleged to be in the august company of these greats. My absorption capacity is zero and my retention capacity is subzero. Yet, I have the temerity to strut about with what little I have gained during the Kalakshepams with our Acharyas while I was in India. This is the reason for forming the Board of Advisors with Yathivaras as Poshakars and Vidwans as AlOchakars. My only qualification is that I am a " VayO vriddha " (perhaps one of the oldest in age in all our groups)and only a " Just born " in matters of Jnaanam, Bhakti,Anushtanam, Vairaghyam or whatever qualities one can and should be proud of. This is no false Naichyanusantaanam on my part but is wholly true. I have one more qualification, though! I have the 5th qualification enunciated by Bhagavad Ramanuja of being accepted under the tutelege of Srivaishnava Bhagavatas. " EntharO mahaanubhaavulu. anthariku vandanamu " I have no word enough to express my appreciation of the valuable contributions of the stalwarts you have mentioned and feel that the entrire Srivaishnava community should feel forever grateful for them.
