This is one of the most beautiful occassions to be witnessed and enjoyed. Perumal and Thayar in the guise of a fowler couple had rescued Ramanuja from the vile conspiracies of Yadava prakasha. This day is celebrated to mark that special occassion. The day's proceedings are conducted at " Saalai kinaru " which is a few kms away from Perumal koil. On the way back, Swamy Deshikan at thuppul would extend his 'Athithyam " to Perumal, Thayar and Ramanujar. Swamy Deshikan performs Aaradhanam to Perumal and Ramanuja on this day at Thuppul.
