I understand that nimiththa kAraNam translates to efficient cause of the universe. By meaning efficient, is the below meant by nimiththa kAraNam? " being or involving the immediate agent in producing an effect <the efficient action of heat in changing water to steam> " I wish to know in detail the nimiththa kAranam.
