Guest guest
Shrimathe Athreya Ramanuja Maha Deshikaaya Namaha Dear Bhagavathas, It is a well known fact that Chittirai - Thiruvaadirai is the thirunakshatram of our paramacharya Sri Bhashyakaara Sri Bhagavad Ramanuja. This day also marks the thirunakshatram of another great acharya who came in the shishya paramparai of Ramanuja. He is none other than Athreya Ramanuja Appullar, the king maker, who was the acharya of none other than our Swamy Deshikan. Athreya Ramanuja Appullar also known as Vaadihamsaambuvaahar, belonged to the lineage of Kidaambi Aachchaan also known as Athreya Pranatarthihara, one of the direct disciples of Ramanuja and an ubhaya simhasanadhipati. We will in this continuing series enjoy the avatara vaibhavam of Srimath Appullar and the works like " Sri Vaadihamsaabuvaahaarya stotram " composed by the legendary Thirukkudanthai Gopaalaarya Maha Deshikan. vAzhi vyAkhyAmuddirak kai !!! vedAnthasUri charaNau sharaNam prapadye !!!
