Dear SrI VaishnavAs,

 

Just an hour back aDiyEn was given a

SrI_SudarSana_LakshmI_nrusimha_sAligrAma

mUrthi, in dAnam by SrI.U.vE. Hari. After reaching home only, I was

very astonished to find the similarities between this sAligrAma

perumAL and just-born kutti-kaNNan.

 

1. Like kutti-kaNNan, this perumAL is also very small.

2. Just-born kaNNan was still having all His AbharaNams - makara

kuntalam etc., Please see the photo of this perumAL in the photo

section. You will find the Golden rEkhAs.

3. For us kaNNan is always a child; similarly, we treat sAligrAma

perumAL as child only.

4. kaNNan was black and handsome; this perumAL is black and cute to

see.

5. vasudEvar carried kutti kaNNan on his head (inside an open

basket). There was an outpouring rain with thunder-storm. So,

AdiSEshan came to as 'senRAl kuDaiyAm'; Today, as I did not carry any

wooden box to keep perumAL, srI. Hari gave his 'nAgar'to keep the

perumAL .... what a similarity!

6. vasudEvar had to cross yamunA river to go to nandagOpan's house.

Similarly, I had to cross the famous 'Singapore river' while coming

back to my gruham.(for yagjnam, agni is produced on one bank of a

river and carried to the other bank, where the rituals will be

carried out in the yagjna vAtikA).

7. Above all, today is Rohini, kutti-kaNNan's birth-star.

 

periyAzhvAr petreDutta peNpiLLai would like to sing on

this 'mAdabhUshi AzhvAr dAnam tanda piLLai' as 'orutti maganAi

piRandu, oLindu... Oar pagalil orutti maganAi vaLara...'; as this

perumAL was hiding in SrI.Hari svAmin's house for quite sometime.

While, aDiyEn would like to chant " vandE brundAvana charam vallabI

jana vallabam.... "
