I thank you for your mail. The article that you have

referenced has the following words:

 

> The taraka nama of Saint Tyagarajahswami is Rama.

> Similarly the Ishta devatha of Nammalwar is Kannan.

 

The concept of ishTa dEvata for advaitains is not present

for jgnyAnis like SrImath SaTakOpar. As far as the VEdAnta

darSanams is concerned, there is only one Devan who is

LakshmI pati VAsudEvan. " tERunkAl dEvan oruvanE endru uRaippar "

says tiru-malizai-AzhwAr. This mail (as a reply) is written

only in SrI MAlOlan net and to you. The comparison that is present in

your referenced article is not fit to be told before scholars.

The advaitin-bhakti and their singing etc are different from

the bhakti mentioned in VEdAnta darSanam.
