In a story on Nammazhwar, Prof M Narasimhachary mentions about the Shata (or Sata) Vayu. I am very interested in knowing more about this Vayu. What is it's significance and why would Emberuman have this vayu come in to delibaretly erase memories of the past? Why would an " ajnAnam " be induced?
