Guest guest
SrI: SrImathE nigamAnta mahA dESikAya nama: Dear SrI vaishNavAs, A bit out of context mail. We were hearing to the wonderful discourse of SrI. S.M.S.Chari svAmi during his recent visit to Singapore, when he was explaining why bhagavat rAmAnujar built-up the system of prasAda viniyOgam in our temples and the importance of tirumaDaippaLLis in our temples. Also, he was mentioning that the quality of prasAdams distributed in MElkOTe temple - which still preserves the system established by SrImath rAmAnujar, is beyond comparison. Our SrI sampradAyam is highly regarded as having the divine fragrance of the divine kitchen of swAmi bhagavath rAmAnuja yatIndra. SwAmi SrIman nigamAnta mahA dESika has stated this greatness in his works such as `aDaRpuLLarasinum….'. etc. The English Edition of SrInrusimhapriya carries a regular article on various delicious items, indicating the recipes and preparation methods. SrI sannidhi's kaimkaryaparAs, SrI.Appu mama, SrI. Venkuttu mama et al give brief procedures on various items. SrI.Govindarajan Chilkoor (Singapore) has scanned some of these pages - the recipes of: 1. AkkAravaDisal 2. PuTTu 3. KArA sEv 4. LaDDu and 5. Uppu seeDai. You may wish to try some of these items during this deepavali. Those interested can get these files from me, as the file size is big and need not be uploaded somewhere. (Recipes in English) PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO BOTH EDITIONS OF SRINRUSIMHAPRIYA and enjoy the fragrances of our SrI sampradAyam and tirumaDaippaLLi . HAPPY DEEPAVALI! dAsan
