Guest guest
Dear SrI Matam SishyAs and AbhimAnis : This morning's KaalakshEpam by our AchArya Saarvabhouman, SrImath Azhagiya Singar on the 6th Paasuram of Thirunedum ThANDakam and the spirited Quesion and answer session that followed is still ringing in our ears on this Iyappasi SravaNam day , which also happens to be the avathAra dinam of Poygai AzhwAr .The Mudhal AzhwAr Prabhandhams took their avathAram at ThirukkOvalUr . Swamy desikan salutes the Mudhal AzhwArs in AdhikAra Sangraham to illustrate AchArya KruthyAdhikAram: Paattukkuriya Pazhayavar Moovaraip-paNDorukAl Mattukka aruL tarum Maayan malinthu varutthathAl Naattukku aruL seha nAnmaRai andhi nadai viLanga Veetukku idaikkazhikkE veLi kAttum Mey viLakkE ---AdhikAra Sangraham : 50th Paasuram (Meaning) :Our Lord at ThirukkOvalUr wanted to have the association with the auspicious bodies ( ThirumEni Sambhandham) of the Mudal AzhwArs and wished to witness the avathAram of the three ThiruvandhAthis from the three AzhwArs and pressed them with His dhivya ThirumEni at the dEhaLi (rEzhi) of a Sage's house at ThirukkOvalUr. The Lord of ThirukkOvalUr empowered the three AzhwArs to sing the Three AndhAthis for the benefit of removing the darkness of Ajn~Anam and to reveal the greateness of MokshOpAyams like Bhakthi and Prapatthi for the upliftment of the SamsAris. Appropriately , the topic of today's KaalakshEpam was on ThirukkOvalUr as " Amarar vEndhan ThAnn Uhanathavoor " (6th Paasuram passage of Thirunedum ThANDakam) . SrImath Azhagiya Singar explained briliantly the deeper meanings of PeriyavAcchAn PiLLai's commentary on this portion of the Paasuram , which celebrates the dhivya dEsam of ThirukkOvalUr as a dhivya dEsam chosen with relish by the Lord of DevAs . Our Lord as " niradhisaya BhOgyan , as VirOdhi nirasana seelan " displayed here His " Swamithvam and Vaathsalyam " to the Jeevans and Nithyasooris according to Swamy PeriyavAcchAn PiLLai . SrImath Azhagiya Singar explained with patieence the deeper SaasthrArTams for these passages for us all and blessed us. SrImath Azhagiya Singar has just returned to SelayUr from a demanding sanchAram and will be staying at SelayUr for the next 10 or 12 weeks . We would therefore be fortunate to attend His KaalakshEpam on Thirunedum ThANDakam during the coming few weeks . adiyEn invites you all to join in and enjoy this amrutha rasAnubhavam of the dhivya prabhandham from our revered AchAryan. Please join in the Telebridge on Saturday Mornings around 9 A.M (details are announced by SrI Dileepan every week ) to participate in this KaalakshEpam. SrImath Azhagiya Singar's Thirunakshathram is fast approaching. The date is December 3 and there are only 32 days left until that Subha dinam . Some of you will be at SelayUr to recieve our revered AchAryan's blessings in person. Others wont have that bhAgyam. Let us do one thing however together . SrIman Dileepan will be appealing soon to assemble the SamarpaNam for the occasion of the Thirunakshathram celebrations at SelayUr . Let us join in and suport this AchArya Kaimakryam generously and recieve our AchAryan , the KaruNA Moothy's blessings on this and all other occasions. Our AchAryan's vAthsalyam for us is indefinable and limitless. I tis also indispensable for us as His sishyAs and abhimAnis . The trouble He takes to bless us with the KaalakshEpams over the Telebridge inspite of His many pressing demands on His time is the outcome of His incomparable Soulabhyam and Vaathsalyam. We are indeed very fortunate to have His dhivyAnugraham. May I appeal to you to contribute yathA Sakthi and join with SrI Dileepan to assemble our SamarpaNam on this important occasion ? Please send a note to SrIman Dileepan at the above address.
