SIVA BAKTHA’S SAYS

“RAMA KILLED RAVANA WHO WAS A BRAHMIN. KILLING A BRAHMIN LEADS TO

BRAHMAHATTI DOSHAM (A SIN MENTIONED AS PER SASTRAS).

HENCE RAMA WAS IN THE CLUTCHES OF BRAHMAHATTI DOSHAM.

SO , RAMA PERFORMED SIVALINGA POOJA TO GET HIMSELF RELEIVED FROM ABOVE DOSHAM.

THAT IS WHY WE STATE SIVA AS BRAHMAN.

 

SWAMI KOORATHAZHWAN REPLIED AS FOLLOWS:

 

FIRST ARGUMENT-

RAKSHASA RAJAN (DEMON KING) RAVANA WAS NOT A BRAHMIN.

THOUGH HE WAS POSSESSING BRAHMA VEERYAM, SINCE HE WAS BORN FROM ASURA VAMSAM (DEMON LINEAGE) IS HIS CONSIDERED AS A DEMON.

ALL RAKSHASA (DEMON) CHILDREN BORN TO THE DAUGHTER OF DAKSHAPRJAPATHY A BRAHMIN KING AND KOUSIKA RISHI ARE NOT CATEGORISED AS BRAHMINS.

SRIMAN NARAYANA WAS NOT UNDER THE CLUTCHES OF BRAHMAHATHI DOSHAM WHEN HE KILLED SO MANY DEMONS SUCH AS :

HIRAYAN, HIRANYAKASIPU, MURAN, MALI, SUMALI ETC, HOW RAMA WAS AFFECTED BY BRAHMAHATHI DOSHAM WHEN KILLING RAVANA!!!!

 

RAVANA HAS HIMSELF SAID TO VIBEESHANA,HIS BROTHER,

 

“THVAAM THU THIKKULANASANAMâ€

WHICH MEANS YOU ARE THE DESTROYER OF OUR RAKSHASA VAMSAM (DEMON LINEAGE) AND THAT SHOWS HE HIMSELF CONFESS THAT HE WAS NOT A BRAHMIN.

 

SECOND ARGUMENT-

AS QUOTED IN PADMAPURANA,

THE LINGAMS OF SIVA AND PARVATHI WAS DISAPPEARED DUE TO BRUHU MAHARISHI’S CURSE AND WHEN THEY WERE WANDERING IN FOREST, SIVA PERFORMED POOJA TO LORD VISHNU USING 1000 CHAMPAKA FLOWERS.

AT THAT TIME HE WAS SHORT OF ONE FLOWER AND SIVA CUT HIS NOSE TO COMPLETE THE POOJA. SRIMAN NARAYANA WAS PLEASED WITH SIVA’S ACTION AND REESTABLISHED LINGAS OF SIVA AND PARVATHI.THIS WAS STATED BY SIVA HIMSELF IN RUDRA GITA-AGASTIYA SAMHITA.

 

WHEN VISHNU WAS REMOVING THE MENTAL AGONY OF SIVA, HOW HE WAS EXPECTING FAVOUR

FROM SIVA BY DOING LINGA POOJA, THIS IS ABSURED SAYS AZHWAN.

 

 

 

THIRD ARGUMENT-

SIVA SAID IN PRAYAGAI MAHATMIYA AS FOLLOWS.

 

“OH PARVATHI LORD VISHNU HAS REMOVED MY BRAHMAHATHI DOSHAM

[THE ONE HE GOT WHEN HE CUT HIS FATHER BRAHMA’S HEAD] UPON MY REQUEST AND PRAYER.

WHEN THIS WAS THE TRUTH. HOW ONE CAN SAY THAT VISHNU HAS PERFORMED POOJA TO SIVA AND HOW SASTRAS WILL ACCEPT SUCH ARGUMENT.

 

FOURTH ARGUMENT-

 

UPANISHADHS QUOTES

“VISHNU IS APAHATA PAAPMAâ€[WHICH MEANS,ONE WHO WILL NOT BE AFFECYED BY SIN]

THE LORD POSSESS EIGHT KALYANA GUNAS AND THOSE WHO ATTAIN VISHNU WILL ALSO GET EIGHT KALYANA GUNAS.IN SUCH CASE HOW RAMA[sRIMAN NARAYANA] WILL BE AFFECTED BY BRAHMAHATHI DOSHA.

 

 

 

FIFTH ARGUEMENT:

IT IS STATED IN MAHABHARATHA’S HARIVAMSA ABOUT A DEMON CALLED GANTAKARNAN (A DEMON WITH BELL IN HIS EARS).

HE WAS A SIVA BHAKTHA. HE TIED BELLS ON HIS EARS TO PREVENT HEARING THE NAMA OF “HARI†WHENEVER SOME ONE CHANTING HARI NAMA, THE ASURA DROOP HIS HEAD TO RING THE BELLS SO THAT THE SOUND PREVENTS HIM TO HEAR HARI NAMAS.THIS ASURA WAS CAUGHT BY TEN THOUSAND BRAHMAHATTIS.

BASED ON SIVA’S REQUEST SRIMAN NARAYANA, GOT GANTAKARNAN RELIEVED FROM TEN THOUSAND BRAHMAHATTHAIS.IF SIVA IS BRAHMAN WHY HE SHOULD REQUEST VISHNU TO GET GANTAKARNA RELIEVED FROM BRAHMAHATTHAIS WAS TH EQUESTION RAISED BY SWAMI.

SIXTH ARGUEMENT:

IT IS STATED IN MANU SMRUTHI THAT

ONE WHO COMMITS A SIN OF HARASSING A WOMEN HAVING GOOD QUALITIES, SHALL BE KILLED. IN THAT CASE IT IS JUSTIFIED THAT RAVANA WHO HAS HARASSED SITA, SHOULD BE KILLED AS PER MANU DHARMA AND HENCE WAS KILLED BY RAMA. SO WHAT RAMA DID WAS A DHARMA AND NOT BRAHMA HATTI.

 

SEVENTH ARGUEMENT:

SAINT VALMIKI WROTE A SLOKA

â€ATHRA POORVAM MAHADEVAM AKAROTHâ€

[MEANS THAT MAHADEVAN, SIVA,WAS COMPASSIONATE TO VISHNU].

HOW DOES VAISHNAVAS REPLY TO THIS WAS THE QUESTION POSSED BY SAIVAS.

 

SWAMI KOORATHAZHWAN’S REPLY:

IN THE ABOVE POEM ONE SHOULD MEAN THE WORD “POORVAM†AS TO PRIOR TO SETHU

BANTHANAM (BUILDING THE SETHU BRIDGE).

 

SIMILARLY ONE SHOULD MEAN THE WORD “MAHADEVAN†AS FOLLOWS,

MAHA MEANS WATER AND MAHADEVAN MEANS THE DEVATHA WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR

WATER IS “VARUNAâ€.

THIS IS STATED IN VAITHIYANTHI NIGANTU (DICTIONARY).

AZHWAN QUOTED THIS AND EXPLAINED THAT VARUNA (ALSO THE DEVATHA OF OCEAN) HELPED RAMA DURING SETHU BANTHANAM. SO HERE MAHADEVA DO NOT MEAN SIVA.

 

EIGHT ARGUEMENT:

 

THEN WHAT DOES THE NAME “RAMALINGA†DEPICTS??

 

IN RAMA UPANISHATH VISHNU PREACHED SIVA TO RECITE RAMA THARAKA MANDRA.

 

SRI RAMA RAMA RAMETHI RAME RAAME MANORAME

SAHASRANAMA THATHULYAM RAMA NAMA VARANANE

THAT IS WHY SIVA TELLS PARVATHY IN PADMOTHARAM, TO RECITE THE ABOVE RAMA NAMA WHICH IS THE SIMPLEST VERSION FOR RECITING SAHASRANAMA OF LORD VISHNU.

MAHARISHI SUKA EXPLAINS BY A QUOTE FROM SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM AS FOLLOWS.

“HASTHEKSHA MALYA SRUTHI RAMATHATHVAMâ€

SIVA IN HIS HEART ALLWAYS THING SRIRAMA AS JAGATH KAARANA (CREATOR OF EARTH) AND IN HIS TONGUE, SIVA ALWAYS RECITE RAMA NAMA, HAVING JABAMALA IN HIS HAND TO COUNT RAMANAMA AND CARRYING RAMA PADUKA ON HIS HEAD[JADAMUDI].

HENCE SIVA IS A GREAT BHAGAVATHA.

SINCE SIVA RECITE RAMA MANTHRA IN HEART AND TOUNGUE,

THE WORD “RAMALINGA†WAS ESTABLISHED.

 

THUS SRIKOORATHAZWAN REFUTED THE FIRST ARGUMENT OF SAIVAS.

 

ALL THE MISTAKES FOUND IN THIS SERIES IS SOLELY DUE TO ADIYEN'S LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND REQUEST YOUR PARDON.
