I am indeed blessed, oh Lord who

pervades the whole world, by the particles of dust on your lotus-like feet and

it is wonderful that I touch that which is always sought by the devas like Brahma

and Rudra with steadfast mind.

2.aho vichithram thava raama

chalasyajasram charaNaadhivarjithaH

sampoornamaanandhamayoathimaayikaH

Rama, your actions by which you

delude the world in your human form, are astounding. You who is the complete self and embodiment

of bliss move around the world ( in human form) assuming your maya, though in fact you have no limbs.

He, purified by the dust of whose

feet the river Ganges in turn purifies even

the devas like Brahma and Rudra, has now come within my eyesight. How can I

describe my good fortune!

I meditate always on Rama, the

Lord Hari, who has incarnated as a mortal, taking a beautiful human form with a bow in his hand

and has eyes wide like a lotus, and not on any other God.

I hold Rama in my heart , the

dust of whose lotus feet is sought by the Vedas,in the lotus from the

navel of whom resides Lord Brahma and who name is relished by Lord Siva.

I resort to Him, the stories of whose incarnations are being sung

by Narada , Brahma, Siva and others and

also goddess Sarasvati who is drenched in tears of joy.

and the Ancient Purusha, self luminous,

eternal and the First ever, has assumed

a form deluding the world for the sake of supreme protection.

He is the creator and annihilator

, the one who is reflected through the guNas by His own maya, is known by

various names such as Brahma Siva, Vishnu etc. while being independent and complete by Himself.

Salutations to your lotus feet ,

Rama, which are held by Lakshmi in her chest with love, one of which strode

over the whole world and which are

meditated by the sages who have no ego.

the Supreme Lord.

Like the space you are in and out

of everything everywhere and without blemish, not attached, changeless and

eternal. You are pure, of the nature of knowledge. You are Brahman the

immutable.

I worship Rama, who is resplendent

like a million suns , who wields bow and

arrow in his hands, who shines like a dark cloud, who wears a garment of golden

hue, who is adorned with gem studded ear rings, who has eyes like lotuses and who

is with his brother Lakshmana.

good son in a year by reading this for the sake of progeny keeping Rama in

mind.

One who chants this sthothra

everyday thinking of Rama as being in

his heart with devotion, may he be a murderer of a brahmin, had illicit

relationship with the wife of his guru, a thief, a drunkard, tormentor of his

parents or brothers, or one who is indulged in sensuous enjoyment all the time,

he will attain salvation. Need anything be said about one who follows good

principles!
