yesterday i was talking to sri paiyambadi venkata varadachar swamy, the brother

of uthamoor swamy.

 

he was saying because of the separation of raama and seethaa and other 'soka

sambavams' available in uththara kaandam of sreemadh raamaayanam, it is not to

be read in the house.

 

for reference if it required bits and pieces can be read.

 

not as a serious study as with other kaaNdams.

 

if at all one wants to read so seriously

then say

start with 18th sargam then 17 then 16 15

and then take say 27 26 25 24 and

again take 45 44 43 like that

-- so that there is no real continuity at any stage.
