Thank you for sharing these images from

PerugavAzhundhAn Koil related images .

 

This village was a seat of great VaidhikAs and Vedic

scholars . My maternal grand father Vaikunta Vaasi

Sri JagannAthAchAr Swamy was one of them .

He moved later to Oppiliappan Koil to be near his

daughter and grand children . Most of the Vedic

scholars took part in the Veda PaarAyaNam at

Raaja MannArgudi .Oppiliappan Koil

Sri SowrirAja Bhattar , Smt.RanganAyaki

was married to the Bhattar of PerugavAzhun

Temple in the sixties . I have therefore special

affection for this village although I have never had

the BhAgyam f visiitng this ancestral village .

the Kaimkaryam .
