SrI vIrarAgava saThakOpa yatIndra mahA dESikan

 

 

 

Masi - pushyam is the TN day of 37th pattam azhagiyasingar.

 

 

 

** Well before Asthana sweekaram, this azhagiyasingar undertook sanyAsa

Asramam and completed 2 cAturmAsya vrata anushTAnam.

 

 

 

** From pUrvASramam itself this HH was writing granthams to clear the doubts

of sishyas instantaneously.

 

Over 26 granthms of this azhagiyasingar is known to us.

 

The stotra grantham, 'SArIrika suprabhAtam' awakens Lord varadan, Who is in

yOganidrA on SrIsUktis such as SrIbhAshyam, Upanishads etc...

** Swami desikan of thiruvallikkeni ahobilamatam was installed by this

azhagiyasingar.

 

 

 

** HH renovated the thirumALigai of Swami dESikan in ThiruvahIndrapuram.

 

 

 

** While having darshanam of the brindAvanams of 3 previous azhagiyasingars

at arasimhapuram, one swami told HH there was still some space between the

brundAvanams.

 

HH was wondering whether He could get that honour of having His brundAvanam

there itself. His wish was fulfilled by his abhimAna perumAL SrI

Veeraraghavan of thiruevvuL

astyatraikO viSEshO budha iti SaTajillakshmaNAbhyAm munibhyAm |

EkibhooyOditAbhyAmiva nirupadhikam prEkshitam sadgurubhyAm ||

vEdAntadvandvamantratraya vivrutimukE sikshitam kshAnti mukyai: |

ADhyam SrIvIraragvITsaThamathanagurum samyamIndram namAmi ||
