Sri Ahobila Muth is pleased to announce the annual Acharya Day celebration

during the Labor Day weekend on September 1st and 2nd, 2007. Thirunakshathrams

of Sri Ramanujar, Swami Sri Vedanta Desikar, Srimath Adivan Satakopan, Srimath

Devanar Vilagam Azhagiyasingar (43rd Jeeyar), Srimath Mukkur Azhagiyasingar

(44th Jeeyar) and the current Azhagiyasingar, Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha Dhivya Paduka

Sevaka Srivan Satakopa Sri Narayana Yateendra Mahadesikan, the 45th Jeeyar of

Sri Ahobila Matam will be celebrated during the two days. This year's function,

as in the past two years, will be held at Sri Ranganatha Temple at Pomona, NY.

 

Please plan on attending the function with your whole family for a weekend of

religious and cultural events. We will be sending more details about the 2 day

function as soon as we set up the registration.

 

The organizers will try and make arrangements to accommodate as many of out of

town attendees as possible in private homes close to the temple. If you plan on

staying at a hotel, the following good hotels are within 6-7 miles of the

Temple: Fairfield Inn at Spring Valley, Holiday Inn at Suffern (Airmont Road

Road), Sheraton (Nanuet / Nyack ), Hilton Gardens ( Nanuet ).

 

We look forward to seeing you all at Sri Ranganatha Temple during the Labor Day

weekend this year.
