A new " Gold Ratham " has been made and offered to Sri Srinivasar by Srimad Azaghiyasingar on 15 Dec 2008. H H blessed the event and did the symbolic pulling .H H was very much impressed with the look and meticulous design of the ratham. Later at Mumbai Srimad Azaghiyasingar advised all to visit Pune Sri Balji temple and have darshan of Sri Balji in Gold ratham.The rathothsavam was held within the temple parikrama.After the planned two rounds of thiru ther pulling by devotees with Srimad Azaghiyasingar leading the procession H H expressed to have Sri Padmavathi Thayar in the Gold ratham.Arrangements were immediatly made by temple management led by Sri Saranathan Swamin.
