Sri Ahobila Matam, USA is very happy to announce the celebration of Acharya

Thirunakshathrams to be held over the Labor Day Weekend this year on Saturday,

September 4th and Sunday September 5th, 2004 in Washington, D.C. The

celebrations last year was well attended by bhagavathas around the United

States.

 

Venue:

Sri Rajdhani Mandir,

4525 Pleasant Valley Rd,

Chantilly, VA 20151

 

Celebrations will include the Thirunakshathrams (divine birth stars) of Swami

Vedantha Desikan, Srimad Athivan Satakopan, Srimad Devanar Vilagam

Azhagiyasingar (43rd Jeeyar), Srimad Mukkur Azhagiyasingar (44th Jeeyar), and

the current Azhagiyasingar, Sri Lakshmi Nrusimha Dhivya Paduka Sevaka Srivan

Satagopa Sri Narayana Yatheendra Mahadesikan, the 45th Jeeyar of Sri Ahobila

Matam.

 

The Thirunakshathrams of these illustrious Acharyas fall between August 2004 and

December 2004. We will celebrate all the Thirunakshathrams in one grand event so

that Sri Vaishnavas from all over the U.S. can come and participate.

 

The two day event includes Thiruvaradhanam & Nava Kalasa Thirumanjanam for Sri

Navaneetha Krishnan, Dolothsavam for Sri Navaneetha Krishnan, Padhuka Aradhanai,

Vedam and Dhivya Prabhanda Paarayanam, presentations on Sri Vaishnava

sampradayam, children's programs, music, dance, religious quiz programs and much

more.

 

Accomodation and Transportation (to and from airports/metro) will be arranged.
