Guest guest Posted August 21, 2004 Report Share Posted August 21, 2004 SrI: Dear SrIvaishnavas, Recently I was not in Singapore many a time and was missing SrImadazhagiyasingar's upanyasam intermittently. Yesterday aDiyEn had the bhAgyam to hear His divine voice again. The following gems will really help a learner to know our siddhantam in a nutshell. 1. On jeevAtma-sankhyA: HH asked why the count of jeevatmAs is infinite. This is a very important question. HH answered the question very nicely telling that by bhagawat samkalpam there could be no end to leela-vibhuti and hence there could be no counts of jeevan also, although any number of jeevans get mukti in jugam-by-yugam. In 2002, SrI.Anand svami answered the same question in mathematical way, which was very useful for me to comprehend this. (When I met him recently he told, even the count of jeevatmans which live in and out of a single human being is ananta-kOTi - which is scientifically proven.) 2. On SaraNAgati: HH gave a brief accounts on the bharanyAsam he did for an injured squirrel; the bharanyasam SrImath injimETTu azhagiyasingar (or svarnam svami?) did for a bat, which was hit accidentally while swinging His stick; the bharanyasam done to the horses which were caught under a burning roof. In all these cases, once the bharanyasam was done, the lucky animals got very well also. Those who have done some good acts (sukrutam, which pleased the Lord) will get this rare opportunity whatever form they live-in. 3. On the form of jeevAtmA: HH explained why a jeevAtmA could not be cut by a sword/ dried with agni etc. He gave proper analogies. 4. On chanting Saranagati gadhyam and nyasa dasakam everyday: When asked why we chant these stotrams everyday, while it is said that Saranagati (kalyanam with the Lord) can be done once only - HH answered that it is like going thro' our kalyana album. The kalyanam is done with proper sankalpam at the sannidhi of perumAL. While what we chant everyday while performing tiruvArAdanam is like recalling our kalyanam with Him. 5. On samAdhika dharithriyam of the Lord and the sarva-saktitvam of the Lord.... all with proper analogy and logic to make a few dulls like aDiyEn to understand the sidhdhantam. and many more......... aDiyEn thought, if some of us can collect the gems and write after the upanyasam, it will be helpful for others who missed the upanyasam. dAsan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
