Dear SrIvaishnavas,

Tomorrow, Avani Hastham is the avatAra dinam of mukkUr munivar HH vedantadesika

mahadesikan. In Srirangam, Chennai, Pomona, Mumbai and many other places

Srimatam sishyas and abhimAnis are celebrating this event in a grand manner.

To write on 44th pattam azhagiyasingar is a himalayan task. However, let's try

to contemplate on His kalyanagunas and contributions to sampradayam.

* He gave us 45th pattam azhagiyasingar.

* Rajagopurams of ahobilam and Srirangam, which are standing tall like HH's

image in our hrudayam, were built under the command of HH

* Pomona SrI Ranganatha temple was built under the command of HH

* brundavanam of devanarvilagam HH in maimisaranyam

* mukkur perumalkoil

* Kanchi nammazhwar sannidhi

* Injimedu thayar sannidhi

* Mandapams in many Divyadesams

* Pushkarini in thiruvellur hruttapanasini.

* Ahobilamatham in Pullambhudangudi and thiruvahindrapuram

* Many grantams and stotrams, a few of which are in nithyanusandanam for

srimatam sishyas.

Even an illiterate could understand sampradayam very easily from HH's upanyasams

and vyAsams.

He was verily another kavi-tArkika simham and His dureeyASrama tirunAmam was

aptly fitting HH.

Seeing poor people HH would melt immediately and donate to them like karNan.

He had special preeti on scholars.

Let's chant His taniyan during this sudinam. (tranliteration as per ITRANS)
