*Srimad Azhagiyasingar's 82nd Thirunakshathra Mahotsavam will be held this

year on Sunday December 7th at Selaiyur, Chennai. His Holiness, after

completing His Chathurmaasya Sankalpam at Ahobilam, reached Mylapore,

Chennai about 10 days back. His Holiness will be camped at Sri Vedanta

Desikar Hall in Mylapore till October 10th and then proceed to Sri Ahobila

Mutt in Selaiyur where He will be camped till the Thirunakshathra Mahotsavam

on December 7th. We hope that all of you can attend the function in Selaiyur

and get the blessings of His Holiness Srimad Azhagiyasingar on this very

auspicious day.

*As you know, Sri Matam will be incurring a lot of expenses for this

function with a large number of invited veda/prabhanda goshti of around 300

and a few thousand sishyas in attendance, as in prior years. We hope to help

offset some of these expenses from contributions from overseas sishyas.

During the past few years, thanks to your generous contributions, we have

been able to raise between $75,000 to $150,000 every year for this special

event, *

 

 

*Please try and contribute generously to this special annual event. We know

that many of you have already contributed to the Chathurmasya Sankalpam and

other kainkaryams this year. However much we contribute is very small

compared to what our Acharyan has done for us and continues to do for us.*
