Sri Ahobila Mutt Temple, Chembur Mumbai organised a grand Sri Nrisimha

Jayanthi festival on 1 May 2007. Vishesha Thirumanjanam for the

presiding deities, Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha, Sri Lakshmi Narayana and Sri

Lakshmi Hayagriva was performed in the morning. Local Srivaishnavites

and students from Selayur Patashala recited Upanishad and Neeratal

Pasurams. Mahavidwan Paiyampadi Sri. Srivatsangachariar Swamin

enlightened the divine gathering on Sri Nrisimha Avatharam. Peria

Satrumurai was held in the evening amids the presence and participation

Azwar, Andal Goshti of Mumbai ,students from Selayur Patashala. A grand

Thiru Veedhi procession was held in the evening with Lord Sri Prahalada

It is delightful to hear the auspicous news

regarding the Nrusimha Jayanthy Celebrations

at the Sri Ahobila Mutt Chembhur Temple .

 

The SishyAs of SrI Matam at Mumbai

are keeping up our uthsavams and traditions

so well . It is a matter of great pride for all of us.

 

Right now , we are in the middle of assembling

the ChAthurmAsa NithyArAdhana funds for

this year ( July 20-Sep 25 ) .

 

We have all but 12 of the pledges for the 60 days

of ChAthrumAsyam .

 

In the past two years , Sri Matam SishyAs from

Chembur Temple and Navi Mumbay temple

provided valuable support and joined in and chose

individual days for sponsorship of the NithyArAdhanam.

 

May I request you to let Sriman Saranathan and others

at the Temple Management group know about

this year's Kaimakryam and select one or more of

the following open days on behalf of their families :

 

Five days in August are : 6, 13 , 18 , 21 and 22

 

Seven Days In September : 5, 6 , 9, 10, 11 , 19 and 21 .

 

May I also request the sishyAs at Navi Mumbay to join in

along with the other sishyAs in India to support

the ChAthrumAsya VrathAnushtAna AaarAdhanam and

TadhiyArAdhanam , Bikshai for individual days ?

 

The samarpaNams ( 10,000 Rs per day or whatever sum

YathA Sakthi) can be sent to our AchAryan thru

the Sri Matam Office at 30 Venkatesa AgrahAram ,
