We have the custom and practice of having a seperate shrine for the

Goddess Mahalakshmi in almost all divyadesams.To fullfill the desire

of devotees of Sri Ahobila Mutt Chemur and elsewhere, even though

the presiding deities are all with their consorts Sri Lakshmi

Nrisimha, Sri Lakshmi Narayana and Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva ,a

seperate sannadhi for Thayar is nearing completion at an estimated

cost of Rs. 55 Lakhs. The Mahasamprokshnam of the newly constructed

is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, the 7 feb 2007 in the

presence of His Holiness Srimad Azhagiyasingr, the 45th Jeer of Sri

Ahobila Mutt.Those desirous of taking part in this Holy Kainkaryam

are requsted to contribute Cash, Gold,Silver,Cheque or Draft in
