Guest guest
SrI: NamO Narayana AdiyEn’s pranAms! Seeking the divine blessings of HH Srimad Azhagia Singar and Sri Malolan, AdiyEn and Smt. Praveena have embarked on taking the small step to give an introduction / glimpse of our rich & vast sampradayam. Adiyongal believes it is imperative to impress people – the younger generation in particular – about the greatness of Sri Ramanuja darsanam. Adiyongal proposes to do this by following means: 1. Through sharing the basic concepts in a friendly / sugar coated manner, which impacts and interests the participants to appreciate and seek more knowledge with conviction 2. Through recitation of pAsurams / Sri Sookthies and sharing the broad meaning of those pAsurams / Sri Sookthies 3. over a period of time, come up with healthy contests / competition to encourage participants in more focused learning. 4. if blessed by the sankalpam of Sriya:Pathi guide them to perform Pancha Samskaram and Bhara Nyasa through Acharya. Mode: The above will be delivered through lecture & recitation sessions. Smt. Praveena will be delivering the sessions. The timings are: Every Wednesday 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM First Wednesday session will start 3rd January 2007 Every Sunday 9 AM to 11 AM First Sunday session will start 7th January 2007 The sessions will start and focus on Godha PirAtti’s Thiruppavai. Once Thiruppavai is complete, Adiyongal proposes to start on Swami Sri Desikan’s works --- “…OronRuthAnE amayodho…” Venue: 8/5 Coats Road 2nd Floor T Nagar, Chennai 600 017 Coats road is off North Usman Road – there is a new GRT huge shop right at the corner of Coats road / North Usman Road . The Contents for Wednesday and Sunday will be same. It is kept as two sessions for the convenience of participants, who may want to choose a weekend OR a week day. Smt. Praveena’s mobile is 98409 84545 Target Participants: Anyone with a willingness to learn, recite the pAsurams and Sri Sookthies can participate. This is NOT restricted to Sri Vaishnavas only. Adiyongal feels with so many onslaughts through media and other means on our sampradayam in specific and sAnAthana dharma in general, - directly and indirectly - as many should be reached out. Adiyongal primarily wants to reach out to the impressionable age people – the mid / end teens, people in twenties in particular. Help requested through the group: Adiyongal requests members of this group to share this information with as many people, friends, and relatives in Chennai. Please contact Sri Anand at anand The bigger the gOshti the better it is. The only result Adiyongal expects from this small step is to “embiranAkku iniyavare” (as Sri Thondaradipodi Alwar seeks in his ThirumAlai). dAsan Srimad Azhagia Singar Thiruvadi Sampathkumar Anand
