There was a mAda veedhi purappAdu for thAyAr. adiyEn heard from Sri Ahobila Mutt ArAdhakar (at Srimath AthivaN SathakOpa Yatheendra mahA dEsikan Brindavanam) that it is unique tradition at Melkote, thAyAr comes to Swami Desikan Sannidhi in sEsha vAhanam. When the resplendent thAyAr entered swAmi dEsikan sannidhi, gOshti recited Sri Sthuthi and madal with great fervor. thaLigai was followed by Sri Sthuthi and madal Sattrumurai. Our dear swAmi dEsikan was enjoying all these sitting onto the left infront of lOka mAthA. Everyone was treated with great prasAdam (fillng aswell). KainkaryapArAs mentioned about the poor turnout for this unique uthsavam. Pl. plan to visit Melkote during this ten day navarAthri uthsavam. A huge maNdapam is coming up close to Srimath AthivaN SathakOpa Yatheendra mahA dEsikan Brindavanam, due to the efforts of Srimath Azhagiyasingar. There is a hall in the ground floor and about 12 rooms in the 1st floor. This should probably be ready next year. adiyEn would like to mention that Sri Ahobila Mutt ArAdhakar was very helpful in taking us to the Brindavanam.
