Guest guest
To all baghavathas, I am in need of a help, for which i am asking you all to pass on the information needed. Please read the following lines, in which i had described my requirement. I had recently purchased " Vainavam oru uraiaadal " , a tamil version of " A Dialogue on Hinduism " from Sri Nrusimha Priya trust in Madras. It was authored by u.Ve Sri V. N. Gopala Desikan and published by Sri Visishtadvaita Research Center. It was purchased by me for acquiring an understanding of the basis of vaishnavism. It was very informative and highly useful one. It became a real eye-opener for me. I would like to share the book with my parents, to have a simillar experience. Unfortunately, their vision is not quite sharp enough to read the book at normal pace. They find it difficult to read it even in a direct sunlight. How ever they are able to read all texts which are big enough, rough equal to font size 18 points onwards (in computer; MSWord etc). It will be very helpful, if i get details about availability of either of the following: 1) Large-font edition 2) Soft copy of the content -> so that i will increase the font size and ask them to read in computer or take printouts so, far i had not contacted to the publishers(please pass on thier email ids, if available), but was in opinion to do so, if this method of public plea fails... If any of you reading this text feels to have a solution, please pass it on. It will not only be helpful for my parents, but also for all elderly community... Srimate Sri Laksminrisimha Divya Paduka Sevaka Srivan Satakopa Sri Narayana Yatindra Mahadesikaya Nama: thanks in advance for your efforts and time, -Adiyen
Guest guest
Dear BhakthA: U.Ve SrI V.N.Gopala Desikan is my class mate and dear friend from Oppiliappan Koil. He will be happy to hear about the request articulated by you. There are number of ways in which this wish can be executed: 1. If you are in India , You can request SrI Gopala Desikan in person and ask him to ask the publisher whether they would be intersted. There will be expenses to bring forth such an edition. 2. You can approach Nrusimha Priya at Venkatesa agrahAram , Mylapore directly either for publishing such a version or permission to preapare an electronic document and make some arrangement for coverage of copy right and making a samarpaNam for SrI Matam. SrI Gopala Desikan has given away rights to the books that he writes including his revered father's (Vaikunta Vaasi Oppiliappan Koil SrIrAma DesikAcchAr Swamy ) books away to the publishers so that many people can benefit from reading them . At Sri VisishtAdhvaitha Research Center, You should contact SrIman S.V.S. Raghavan of SrI matam. Please write to: SrI Vn.Gopala DEsikan Sanidhi Street Oppiliappan Koil Thirunageswaram ( Post) Tamil Nadu 612 204 Best wishes, V.Sadagopan - " Narayanan " <narayanan456 Monday, September 22, 2003 3:50 AM request for information... > To all baghavathas, > > I am in need of a help, for which i am asking you all to pass on the > information needed.
