Guest guest Posted September 10, 2009 Report Share Posted September 10, 2009 SrI : Dear Sri Matam SishyAs : In my earlier note , I might have left the impression that there are two DipAwali celebrations this year , one for children and social purposes and the others who strictly follow AchArya NirNayams . In actuality , there is only one DeepAwaLi celebration this year or any other . The One determined by our AchAryan , which happens to be on November 14/15 for this year On Oct 16/17 , children may find fire crackers and other DeepAwaLi related paraphernalia going on all around and may ask their parents as to why they are not celebrating , while all the others are celebrating in October 16/17 . The parents have to explain to them that in our Sri Matam samprahAyam , DeepAwaLi arrives one month later this year ( Nov14/15) . This should help .
