SrImathy Padma VeerarAghavan is one in whom the Sangeetham , Saahityam and

Bhakthi have come together .She has composed Krithis in 72 MeLa Raaga

Krithis and all of them are humble and moving tributes to Lord Oppiliappan

of ThiruviNNagara Dhivya dEsam . She was born there and Her life long

dedication to Her Kula dhaivam , BhUmi Devi SamEtha SrI Oppiliappan is

abundantly evident in her Krithis .

 

Srimathy Padma VeerarAghavan has composed more than 200 krithis , Many

Taana

VarNams and TillAnAs . In this series , we will concentrate on the 72 MeLa

Raaga Krithis , give their

meanings and comments on the deep VedAntic tattvams that the saahityam

Passages touch .
